KZN Sharks Board participation in the 2022 Africa’s Travel Indaba

With Mr. Mbambo during the Africa Travel INDABA Breakfast Meeting at Elangeni Hotel on the 03rd May 2022, were Acting CEO for SA Tourism, Mr. Khumalo and the CEO for Ugu Hibiscus Coast, Ms. Mancu. What came out quite instinctively from the engagement around the table, was the issue about the Greatest Shoal on Earth (Sardine Run) which is right at our door-step dependent on the weather pattern & the cold front approaching from Agulhas Current i.e. a western boundary of the southwest Indian Ocean. This is the phenomenon which has since become a Global draw card for the KZN Province in South Coast in particular. This needs to be resuscitated yet again between Ugu District, Tourism National Dept, SA Tourism, TKZN & other partners in the same field.
